Tim Murray is the co-founder and CEO of TeamElderCare Consulting, LLC. Prior to TeamElderCare, Gina served as the Agency Director and RN Supervisor for Aware Senior Care, LLC, the home care agency she and her husband Tim founded in 2014 and sold in December 2020. At the time of the sale Aware was the top-rated in-home care agency in the Triangle winning seven top national awards in 2020 for its quality of care and being a “caregiver first” company winning home care pulse’s Employer of Choice award four years in a row.
Tim has spent nearly 30 years in business management and leadership of technology companies. Prior to founding Aware Senior Care in 2014, he worked for several technology firms, leading their sales, business development and marketing teams. He is a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving onboard the USS Groton SSN-694 a Los Angeles class submarine from 1981-1985 followed by two years of teaching tactics at the submarine officers basic and advanced classes in Groton, CT. Tim is an alum of the Villanova University School of Engineering graduating with a BSEE in 1981.
Tim’s commitment to his community goes beyond his work with TeamElderCare Consulting, LLC. He currently is serving as president of the Cary-Kildaire Rotary Club and sits on the board of the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina.
Gina and Tim have four children and five grandchildren living in Cary, NC. They enjoy traveling and staying fit by regularly participating in Spartan obstacle course races. In 2019, both Gina and Tim completed the challenging Spartan Trifecta earned by completing three different Spartan obstacle course races in one calendar year: One Sprint, which consists of 3+miles with 20-23 obstacles (walls, rope climb, bucket carry, barbed wire crawl, etc.). One Super, which is 8-10 miles with 24-29 obstacles and the Spartan Beast (13+ miles, 30+ obstacles).
